My Morning Routine

I like magic tricks as much as the next person, but I usually find effective magic tricks to be frustrating.

I know there is a trick; some secret, technique, or special tool that lets the magician perform the trick. The trick is effective because I don’t know how it works, and it frustrates me that I can’t figure it out.

Sometime over the past two years, I figured out how to perform a magic trick on myself; and I am frustrated because I don’t know how it works, just that it does.

Your Local Library Is Probably Awesome

I don’t know if my local library system is a world class anomaly or a run of the mill public library; but I would encourage everyone I know to look into what your local library has to offer. It’s likely more than you think.

When my son was born, I knew it was only a matter of time before I had to dive into the world of children’s entertainment.

This scared me because I didn’t even like kid’s shows when I was a kid, much less as a sleep deprived and stressed out parent.
